To make sure Chloe could not escape, he pulled her hands behind her back and cinched them tight with zip ties. Then, as if that weren’t enough, he wound ropes over the ties until her wrists ached.

Chloe begged and promised not to tell anyone if he let her go, while the bad hombre ties her body with more rope, but it was too late—she knew his secret.
