Chloe Toy is a rookie MI5 agent. Until recently, she worked behind a desk, but after earning a promotion to field operative, she has finally been assigned her very first mission.

Following a trail of intelligence, Chloe tracks the headquarters of a major criminal organization operating in London to what appears to be an ordinary underground pub. Behind its innocent facade lies the gang's secret base of operations.

As she investigates, Chloe encounters a man she immediately recognizes—another MI5 agent! Relieved, she listens as he quickly explains the situation. He has been working undercover for months, slowly earning the trust of the criminals and getting closer to their elusive leader. The operation is on the verge of success, and the organization's boss is expected to arrive at any moment.

But Chloe's unexpected appearance threatens to destroy everything.

If the criminals discover another MI5 agent snooping around, years of work could be lost, the entire operation could collapse, and Chloe herself could be in serious danger.

Thinking fast, the undercover agent proposes a solution. He will make it appear that he has already captured Chloe. If the gang arrives to find her securely restrained, they will believe he remains loyal to them. The plan serves three crucial purposes: it protects Chloe, preserves the operation, and strengthens his cover within the organization.

Chloe realizes there is no better option. She may not like the idea of spending hours bound and unable to explain herself, but allowing the criminals to discover her would be far worse.

She reluctantly agrees.

Finally, he places a gag over her mouth, silencing her protests and ensuring the disguise is complete.

With Chloe now looking every bit the captured agent, the undercover operative makes his final preparations. The criminals will arrive any minute, and he must convince them that everything is under control.
